Sunday Order and Order Pickup Hours
We will take and fill orders for gift cards at the Scrip (Gift Card) table in the lobby of the Family Life Center each Sunday from 9:00 to 9:30 and from 12:00 to 12:15.
We carry a stock of Safeway and Giant gift cards for quick sale on Sundays.
We take orders for gift cards from other participating retailers and fill those orders the following Sunday. Want to see if the retailers you use participate in the program? Check out the Brand List (Alphabetical) and the Brand List (By Category). You will be amazed at how many of the retailers you use participate in the program.
Placing a Paper Order
Members can fill out a paper order form and turn it in at the Scrip table along with a check made out to Asbury UMC Scrip for the amount of the purchase. They can pick up their gift cards the next Sunday.
Placing an Online Order
If you place your order online, you can order scrip at your convenience from your home or office and you can see your purchase history and the status of your orders online.
To get started with online ordering:
- Go to www.shopwithscrip.com and look for the Register Button. Click the Join a Scrip Program button to start the process.
- Follow the simple registration instructions and accept the agreement.
- When prompted, enter Asbury’s enrollment code 22B23L7B26455 to associate your account with Asbury.
- Click the Shop button to get started. (You can browse to shop by category or search brands to find out if a particular retailer is available.)
- If you register for Presto Pay (see below), you can pay when you check-out online.
- If you would rather pay by check, make out a check for the amount of your order payable to Asbury UMC Scrip and drop it off at the ScripTable on Sunday.
- Pick up your gift cards the following Sunday.
Presto Pay Online Payment Option for Gift Card Orders
Presto Pay is a secure payment method that allows GLSC to withdraw funds from your checking account to pay for an order. It is equivalent to a “paperless” check. (Presto Pay uses the Automated Clearing House Network, the primary network for electronic funds transfers, the same network used for direct deposit of Social Security and payroll checks.) When you order and pay online, place your order before Monday at 8:00 a.m. and pick up your cards the following Sunday.
When you pay with Presto Pay, you can use the online “self -service” options without ever having to stop by the Scrip table.
Online “Self-Service” Options - ScripNow And Reloads
There are two “self-service” options for purchasing gift cards paid for using Presto Pay. The options allow you to purchase gift cards and earn money for Asbury without having to visit the Scrip table on Sunday to pick up a card. (The Reload and Scrip Now options are not available for all retailers.) Read on to find out more about these options.
ScripNow
ScripNow is ShopWithScrip.com's quickest way to purchase scrip. You can order, pay for, and print eCards for various retailers and use them within minutes. Follow this LINK to see a listing of the ScripNow! brands.
Using ScripNow! is simple:
- Click the ScripNow button on the ShopWithScrip Family Home page to see a listing of the retailers offering ScripNow!
- Order your ScripNow eCard in any amount, using $10 increments that are between the minimum and maximum dollar amount allowed by the retailer and pay with Presto Pay.
- Within minutes, GLSC will email you a secure link to a printable eCard that can be redeemed in the store or online.
All GLSC retailers have been notified of ScripNow option, and as retailers become compliant with ScripNow! technology, they will be added. At present Amazon, Applebee's, Althea, Banana Republic, Barnes & Noble, Bass Pro, Bath & Body Works, Build-A-Bear, Cheesecake Factory, Chili's Grill & Bar, Container Store, CVS, Dell Computer, Domino's Pizza, Gap, Golfsmith, Home Depot, iTunes, jcpenney, Kmart, Land's End, Lowes, Macaroni Grill, Marriott, Old Navy, On The Border, Overstock, Pottery Barn, Red Robin, Ritz-Carlton, Sears, Shutterfly, Starbucks, Stoney River, TGI Friday's, Williams-Sonoma, and Zappos are some of the retailers offering this option.
Reloads
ShopWithScrip offers you the opportunity to “reload” funds onto gift cards you have already from Asbury and still earn a rebate for Asbury! Follow this LINK to see a current list of the brands available for Reload Now and follow this LINK to see a current list of brands available for Reload. (Reload Now funds are available immediately and Reload funds are available overnight.) Follow this link to the Reload FAQs that will explain how to set up a reload.
Some of the popular cards offering the Reload Now option are the Starbucks card, gas cards Exxon, Shell, and Sunoco, grocery cards Safeway, Shoppers, and Whole Foods.
If you select Presto-Pay, and only reload-able items are in your cart, you will receive a confirmation page stating the exact date and time your reloaded funds will be available for use. (Reload Now funds are available immediately.)
My Scrip Wallet
