Asbury is hosting Winter Relief from Wednesday evening December 26 2018 through Wednesday morning January 2, 2019. The Winter Relief is an emergency shelter for homeless men and women during the winter months. The program provides so much more than shelter. A breakfast, a lunch, a dinner, and community.

NIGHT HOST Three separate shifts each night, 7:00 – 11:00 pm, 11:00 pm – 3:00 am, and 3:00 - 7:00 am. If you would like more information, a document outlining shift responsibilities is available. For questions contact the coordinator, Pat Cody.
Prepare Meals & Snacks
- DINNER & WEEKEND LUNCH Volunteers buy the food, cook and serve the meal, and take home all leftovers. Lunch is served at 12:30 and dinner is served at 5:30. For questions contact Hite Spencer.
- BREAKFAST Volunteers prepare breakfast (according to menu provided), serve, and clean-up. Ingredients are available in the kitchen. Weekdays, breakfast is at 6:15 am and clean-up is at 6:45 am. Weekends and New Year's Day, breakfast is at 7:00 am. For questions contact the coordinator, Skip Trimble.
- SNACKS Volunteers provide a healthy snack at 4:00 PM and a football snack Sunday and Tuesday at 2:00 pm. For questions contact the coordinator, Sally Vavrek.
Dishwasher For questions contact the coordinator, Sally Vavrek
- MORNING DISHWASHER Volunteers run dishwasher and help dry dishes after breakfast. Weekdays, 6:00 am – 7:00 am. .
- EVENING DISHWASHER Volunteers run dishwasher and help dry dishes after dinner. 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
LAUNDRY Volunteers pick up guests' laundry, wash and dry, and return within 48 hours. For questions contact the coordinator, Sally Vavrek.
Supplies Volunteers purchase supplies from the lists and bring supplies to the kitchen by the date specified. For questions contact the coordinator, Sally Vavrek.
